Direct booking: what are the advantages?

Since 2018, we’ve been committed to a transparent and fully trustworthy relationship with our tenants: By booking directly with us, you are guaranteed to benefit from a rate that is always more advantageous than on Booking or Airbnb — even if your Genius discount, combined with additional reductions unilaterally decided by Booking (which are not always very clear to property owners), results in a final price lower than the one shown here for the same stay —. Just contact us and your booking price will be adjusted accordingly. But of course, you are entirely free to pay more elsewhere if you believe it’s better for your safety!

• The prices displayed on Airbnb or Booking are always marked up ; in the end, you are the one paying the 17% commission!
• Our cancellation policy is even more advantageous than those on Airbnb or Booking (see below).
• You pay on arrival, after you have arrived and entered the flat: No down payment required at the time of booking and no nasty surprises. And no non-existent ‘ghost’ flats!
• At the time of booking, a security deposit is taken via a simple, un-debited credit card hold, managed by Swikly, an independent organisation specialising in deposits (see below).
• A dedicated contact person always available, by phone or via WhatsApp.
