• The prices displayed on Airbnb or Booking are always marked up ; in the end, you are the one paying the 17% commission!
  • Our cancellation policy is even more advantageous than those on Airbnb or Booking (see below).
  • You pay on arrival, after you have arrived and entered the flat: No down payment required at the time of booking and no nasty surprises. And no non-existent ‘ghost’ flats!
  • At the time of booking, a security deposit is taken via a simple, un-debited credit card hold, managed by Swikly, an independent organisation specialising in deposits (see below).

STAY PRICING

  • The prices shown apply for 1 to 4 people (adults or children over 2 years old). Beyond this, please add 7 euros per person, per day.
  • Children under the age of 2 stay free of charge. We can provide a travel cot, a high chair, and a baby bath at no extra charge. A child over 2 years old is counted towards the total number of guests, as they will occupy a bed.
  • Prices are all-inclusive (accommodation, water and electricity, bed linen and towels, shower gel and shampoo).
  • Check-in is from 4:00 PM (16:00), and check-out is before 11:00 AM.
  • Dogs and other animals are accepted at no extra charge (except in studio 2 – you can ask us why), provided they are clean and well-behaved.

LENGTH OF STAY

  • In principle, stays of less than 4 nights are not accepted, but any request can be considered with a surcharge.
  • During the period from June 15 to September 15, as well as during Semana Santa (Holy Week) in April, stays last at least 7 nights, starting on Saturday and ending on Saturday. During this period, a 15% reduction will be applied if the duration of the stay exceeds 28 nights.
  • The rest of the year, a 15% reduction is applied for all stays longer than 21 days.

BOOKING AND DEPOSIT PROCEDURE

As previously stated, we do not take a down payment at the time of booking at ¡Vamosalaplaya!

This may come as a surprise, but it has always been our policy. We rely on mutual respect and trust that you will notify us as soon as possible if you need to cancel your stay.

Bookings are made via the search form on each flat or studio’s page. The quoted price for the stay may be revised downwards if it transpires that the same stay is cheaper on external platforms, for the reasons detailed above.

After our confirmation, you will need to validate the security deposit with our partner, SWIKLY. This confirms your booking and will serve as a deposit in case of any damage to the flat during your stay.

This amount will not be debited from your account at any time, nor will it affect your credit card’s spending limit.

The security deposit amount is 300 euros for each flat and 100 euros for each studio.

If everything is in order, this deposit hold is automatically cancelled 10 days after your departure.

CANCELLATION

  • As on Airbnb or Booking, cancellation is free up to 24 hours before your arrival (that is, the day before until 3:59 p.m.).
  • Since payment for the stay is made after your arrival, and you haven’t paid any deposit, you run no risk. That’s our choice.
  • If you cancel within the stated period, your Swikly deposit guarantee will be cancelled. You won’t even notice it, as no charge was made when it was created!
  • After this H-24 deadline, only the amount of your Swikly guarantee will be charged.
  • By comparison, in the event of a no-show on Booking, the full price of the stay is charged, and on Airbnb, the amount of the first night plus the service fees are billed to you.

PAYMENT TERMS

  • Since payment for the stay is made after you arrive, and you have not paid any down payment, you bear no financial risk. This is our choice.
  • If you cancel within the specified timeframe, your Swikly deposit hold will be cancelled. You won’t even notice, as no funds were ever debited when it was created!
  • After this 24-hour deadline, only the amount of your Swikly security deposit will be debited.
  • For comparison, in the event of a no-show on Booking, the total price of the stay is debited. On Airbnb, you are charged for the first night plus the booking service fee.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Swikly is a French company specialising in managing all types of rental deposits. You provide a credit card imprint for a set amount; this amount is neither blocked nor debited, and your card’s spending limit is not affected at any time. This is the main benefit of this system.

The accommodation is rented exclusively for the number of people stated at the time of booking.

Parties are strictly forbidden.

All properties are non-smoking.

We do not charge a cleaning fee, provided the flat is left in good condition. Otherwise, a cleaning fee of 90 euros may be charged and will be deducted from your virtual SWIKLY deposit, following an inspection at your departure. To date, this has never happened.

The Spanish authorities require us to collect the ID card or passport number of every guest. You must provide these to us before your arrival.

We reserve the right to refuse a booking request if the guests’ profile does not seem appropriate, or to enforce the house rules and protect the flat by requiring a higher security deposit (e.g., for a large group of young, ‘festive’ individuals…).
