Pirulico<\/strong>, in the direction of Carboneras.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\uddfa\ufe0f Just type \u2018<strong>Playa del Sombrerico<\/strong>\u2019 into Google Maps and follow a <strong>dirt track for about 4 km<\/strong>. Drive about 2 km. Leave the Torre del Pirulico on your left, continue another 2 km and you will arrive at Sombrerico Beach.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83c\udd7f\ufe0f There are <strong>two free parking areas<\/strong>, quite close to the shore. In summer, they fill up quickly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udca1 Nicol\u00e1s&#8217; tip: arrive before 10 am or after 6 pm.. You&#8217;ll have perfect light and fewer people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83c\udfd6\ufe0f What is this beach like?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Sombrerico Beach is:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>About <strong>270 metres long<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>With <strong>coarse sand, pebbles and volcanic rocks<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>With a <strong>rocky<\/strong> entrance to the sea (watch your feet!)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The atmosphere is very <strong>relaxed and varied<\/strong>: families, naturists, van drivers, laid-back travellers and the odd local who knows the area well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83e\uddd8\u200d\u2642\ufe0f A beach for everyone: naturism, dogs and vans (almost anything goes)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Officially:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Dogs are not allowed<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Camping is not allowed<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>But in practice&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>There are motorhomes that spend the night without any problems<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Naturists and bathers in swimming costumes <strong>coexist in harmony<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The important thing here is respect. If you are one of those people who <strong>leave the place as you found it<\/strong>, this is the place for you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83c\udf74 The beach bar: a little luxury in the middle of nowhere<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Right next to the beach there is a <strong>charming beach bar<\/strong>, with:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Homemade food<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Rustic terrace with shade<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Good atmosphere, unpretentious<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sometimes <strong>live music<\/strong> on weekends<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83c\udf9f\ufe0f It is very popular, so <strong>book if you go in high season<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udca1 Local tip: eat <strong>early on<\/strong> (around 13:00) and you&#8217;ll get a table without stress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83d\udc20 What to do at Sombrerico beach?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>1. <strong>Simple and beautiful snorkelling<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The seabed, among the rocks and seaweed, is perfect for <strong>seeing small fish and marine life<\/strong>. You don&#8217;t need to swim far.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83c\udf92 Bring flippers, mask and snorkel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. <strong>Hiking trails around<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>From Sombrerico you can walk along <strong>nature trails<\/strong> that connect to other coves or viewpoints.
